An intimate, cinematic love story set against the

An intimate, cinematic love story set against the timeless elegance of Gramercy Mansion… where every glance, every quiet moment, and every laugh felt like it belonged in a dream.

Riley and Lucas’ story began in a single unforgettable week — four dates, endless conversation, and a connection that refused to fade, even when distance tried to intervene. While Lucas served in the USMC, their love grew stronger across miles, built on late-night calls, shared dreams, and unwavering support.

Three years later, that same love led to a proposal at a Dexter and the Moonrocks concert — a moment as electric and emotional as their journey together. And now, surrounded by their closest people, they begin their forever.

Their wedding day was everything they envisioned: romantic, intimate, and deeply personal. From the quiet anticipation before the ceremony to the moment Riley walked down the aisle — the world seemed to pause as she met Lucas at the end.

The historic charm of Gramercy Mansion created the perfect backdrop for their day — soft light, rich textures, and a timeless atmosphere that elevated every frame. Their celebration was filled with meaningful glances, laughter between lifelong friends, and the kind of love that feels both grounding and electric all at once.

From Riley’s breathtaking @galialahav gown to the lush florals and candlelit ambiance, every detail reflected a refined yet emotional aesthetic — a perfect balance of elegance and intimacy.

This day wasn’t just about a wedding… it was about a love that endured distance, time, and life’s challenges — and chose each other, every single time.

And honestly… you can feel that in every moment.

✨ A love that started in college… and became a lifetime ✨

Lillie (@lilthurman) & Noah (@noah_leichliter) met just before finals at the University of Alabama — what began as late-night conversations over winter break quickly turned into something undeniable. From campus days to building a life together in DC, navigating a global pandemic, and raising their sweet pup Rexford 🐾… their story has always been rooted in friendship, laughter, and a deep sense of home.

On a warm June day, surrounded by 150 of their closest friends and family, they said I do at the breathtaking Great Marsh Estate in Virginia — a setting that perfectly reflected both sides of their story.

The day began with quiet, emotional moments… elegant details, handwritten touches, and anticipation filling the air. Their ceremony was timeless and heartfelt — filled with faith, meaning, and the kind of love you don’t have to question.

And then… the celebration began 🔥

What followed was not just a reception — it was a full-on EXPERIENCE. A dance floor that never emptied, a wedding party that brought unmatched energy, and moments that had everyone laughing, cheering, and fully present.
⚡ Epic entrances to Thunderstruck
🎶 Guests shaking along to Dixieland Delight & Sweet Home Alabama

Lillie describes Noah as her calm in the chaos — her perfect counterpart.
Noah sees Lillie as captivating, driven, and full of life.

Together, they’ve built something rare — a love that is joyful, grounded, and deeply connected.

This wasn’t just a wedding film… it was a story of balance, laughter, faith, and choosing each other — every single day.

BEING MARRIED IS AN AMAZING ADVENTURE
Often we get asked by our couples how myself and Vera met.

This is indeed a love story that overcame distance, and the miracle of finding that very specific person.

Desmond grew up in South Africa and Vera in Russia. Completely different worlds, languages, and cultures, yet when met somehow it all just clicked.

Fate brought us together and within six months of our first conversation we were married.

3 weddings in different continents. Some might say Foolishly rushing in, crazy for getting married so quickly

Now over 14 years later, with 3 kids and so many adventures, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We trusted God for our life partner and could not have imagined it in any other way.

With this same passion, we are excited to get to know your story and bring it to life on screen

A Fairytale Romance at Dover Hall

When timeless elegance meets pure emotion, you get this magical day at the breathtaking @doverhallweddings. 💫 From soft candlelight to a dazzling firework exit, Dana & Anthony’s wedding was the perfect blend of intimacy, laughter, and love — with their adorable 8-month-old baby girl stealing the show as the sweetest flower girl ever!
Their story began on a softball field — a championship game that turned into a lifelong love. What started as friendship soon became an unshakable bond built on shared values, laughter, and deep connection. After three years of engagement and growing their family, this day marked the beginning of their forever. 🤍⚾️

The celebration unfolded in the grandeur of Dover Hall — with soft romantic décor, heartfelt toasts, and a firework-filled finale that lit up the Virginia sky. Every detail reflected their personalities — elegant, joyful, and full of heart.

BE STILL AND KNOW. 🕊️ What if silence is not wher

BE STILL AND KNOW. 🕊️

What if silence is not where God begins to speak, but where we begin to listen?

We live surrounded by noise. The noise of the world, the news, our ambitions, our fears, our endless need to achieve something, become someone, and never fall behind. And even when the world grows quiet, our minds keep talking.

But what if the invitation to be still is not simply about making less noise? What if it is about making room?

In 1 Kings 19, Elijah encounters wind, an earthquake, and fire. Yet the Lord is not in those things. Then comes the sound of a gentle whisper — and Elijah covers his face.

Perhaps we have not lost the ability to hear God. Perhaps we have simply forgotten how to listen.

And perhaps silence begins with a different kind of fasting.

Not only fasting from food, but from the constant need to respond. From the endless scrolling. From the opinions we feel compelled to defend. From the noise we use to avoid facing what is happening within us.

To fast is to make room. To loosen our grip. To discover that we do not have to fill every empty moment, answer every question, or control every outcome.

Sometimes, we must become quiet enough to hear the things we have been avoiding — and humble enough to receive the grace that has been there all along.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Not be still, and do more.
Not be still, and figure everything out.
Not be still, and prove your worth.

Be still. And know.

May we learn to enter silence not as an escape from the world, but as a deeper way of being present in it. To God. To one another. To the beauty and brokenness of being human.

Lord, teach us to be still. Teach us to listen. And when the noise rises again, gently lead us back to You.

🙏 What would you need to fast from today to make a little more room for silence?

A PRAYER FOR THE UNFINISHED WORLD God of hidden t

A PRAYER FOR THE UNFINISHED WORLD

God of hidden things,
of moonlight caught in a glass of water,
of roots making secret music beneath the earth—

take us somewhere quiet.

Let us lie beneath the enormous sky
and remember what it is to be small.

Lord, we have grown so sensible.
We know what the box is made of,
but the child sees a castle.
We know the names of things
and sometimes forget how to wonder.

Give us back the cardboard spaceship,
the stick that becomes a magic wand,
the blue horse drawn without apology,
the world before we nailed everything down.

Teach us to play again.
To follow a thought without knowing where it leads.
To make something simply because it makes us more alive.

Perhaps our limitations are not only walls.
Perhaps they are frames,
the rests that allow music to breathe,
the darkness in which a stage begins to glow.

Perhaps we do not need to become infinite
to encounter the infinite.

Perhaps we need only to become still enough
to notice the mystery that has been here all along.

Lord, we want the whole script.
We want the ending revealed,
the pain explained,
the curtain pulled aside.

But we are not the whole production.

Teach us our small part:
to love, to listen, to create,
to receive what we did not make,
and to trust You with the scenes we cannot yet see.

Holy Spirit, breath of God,
blow the dust from our wonder.
Open the windows.
Let the curtains lift.
Make the ordinary world strange again.

And when morning comes,
let us see the world as though for the first time:
a child’s hand,
a bird on the windowsill,
sunlight travelling slowly across the floor.

Small things.
Impossible things.
Gifts we could never have invented
and could never entirely explain.

Here we are, Lord—
a little dust, a little breath,
beneath the immeasurable heavens,
and somehow, wonderfully, loved.

Be still, and know.

Not the whole story.
Not the end of the mystery.

Only this:

You are God.

And we are here.

Amen.

A Prayer for the Artist

O Heavenly King,
Spirit of Truth,
everywhere present and filling all things—

quiet my heart
and teach me to see.

I did not create the light.

I only noticed where it fell.

I did not create the beauty.

I was given eyes to behold it.

I did not create the mystery.

I was invited to stand before it.

Keep me from saying,
“Look at me.”

Make my work a window:

“Look through me.”

Let the visible open toward the invisible,
the beautiful toward the eternal,
the mystery toward You.

And when pride whispers,
“Look what I have created,”

let my soul remember:

“Look what I was allowed to see.”

Make me a witness, Lord—
not the source,
not the light,
but a quiet reflection of Yours.

May everything I make
lead beyond me
and toward You.

Amen.

Others begin in quiet ceremony, surrounded by generations of family and the weight of beautiful tradition. We have had the privilege of filming both — and everything in between. Little Robin Wedding Story is a boutique wedding film studio based in Washington DC, working across Maryland, Virginia, and beyond. We create cinematic films for couples who want their wedding captured with the same care they put into every detail of their day — unhurried, deeply personal, and made to last. Our work has taken us through the historic rooms of The Hay-Adams, The Willard InterContinental, and Meridian House. Along the waterfront at the Sagamore Pendry. Through candlelit ceremonies at The Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis. Into the intimate grandeur of the Four Seasons, The Watergate, and Salamander Resort. And for couples whose love story crosses borders — to The Plaza, The Pierre, and the Waldorf Astoria in New York, and to celebrations across Europe, Africa, and Asia. We film black-tie celebrations and barefoot beach ceremonies. South Asian weddings spanning multiple days of color, ritual, and music. Jewish ceremonies, Catholic Masses, intercultural unions where two families and two worlds come together for the first time. Every tradition honored. Every detail seen. What unites every film we make is not the venue or the style — it is the intention behind the lens. We work quietly alongside your photographers and planners, never imposing on a moment, always ready when it arrives. The result is a film that doesn’t feel like coverage. It feels like memory. Little Robin Wedding Story has been featured in The Knot, WedLuxe, Style Me Pretty, and Washingtonian Weddings, and has earned 24 international awards for cinematic excellence. Every film is a bespoke creation — designed not simply to document your day, but to preserve it, forever.
