Nicole and John’s intimate wedding took place at a spectacular venue of DAR Constitution Hall. It was carefully organized by Amanda Chambers and craftily photographed by Paola Nazati. Both Nicole and John were really excited about making a lifelong commitment to each other and sharing their special day with friends and family. On this beautiful day Nicole’s grandpa was singing a song during cocktail hour.
For their first date, John made the trek from D.C. to Old Town Alexandria to take Nicole to the 1920s PX Speakeasy. At the end of the night Nicole ordered a french fry platter with a flight of 6 different fries and sauces just to extend the date a little longer. After their first date, Nicole told her mom she could see herself marrying John. When her mom asked how she knew, one of the reasons Nicole listed was John’s amazingly genuine laugh (if you know, you know). Nicole says, “John is the most patient and understanding person I’ve ever met. He’s incredibly genuine and thoughtful – and makes everyone feel comfortable with his calm demeanor. He TRULY accepts me for who I am and encourages me to grow.”
