Lara and Matthew had a traditional jewish wedding with the 7 circle ritual, breaking of the glass and horah dance. Lara and Matthew chose an amazing venue for this occasion with the stunning views over the water and a whimsical inner court garden. For their wedding Lara and Matthew created a specialty cocktail named after their dog, Scooter. They first met when They lived in New York City. Lara asked Matthew to meet up for drinks, so they met at a wine bar on the Upper West Side. They talked for hours, and ended up planning a second date right there on the spot. Together they enjoy going on long walks with their dog, cooking and traveling – their favorite trips have been to Barcelona and Bonaire.
Lara writes, “Matthew is my best friend. He cheers me up when I’m down, he never fails to make me laugh, he makes every day fun, and I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with him! We can’t wait to spend every day together, and continue to grow our loving partnership we’ve been developing the past 3 years. We’re so excited to stand in front of our families and show our love for each other.”
